John E. Richards honed his managerial skills by operating a small, dynamic company in the Seattle, Washington area after earning a degree in chemistry from Brigham Young University. John then launched with his brother and early-era Internet company the eventually was part of a team and company that went public on the NASDAQ achieving a $35= billion dollar market capitalization with over 1,500 employees. John is a professional full-time faculty member at BYU serving as an associate professor and has taught courses in entrepreneurial management, e-business strategy, and management consulting. John is an active participant in the venture ecosystem as an entrepreneur ans angel investor. He consults regularly to start-up companies seeking capital and growth.
