Biography:
Paul served in the French East Mission. Both he and his wife Ann graduated from BYU in '72. He graduated Cum Laude, High Honors with Distinction, and was named a University Scholar and a Hinckley Scholar. He received his JD from the University of Minnesota Law School in '75. Paul and his partner started the Happenings Coupon Books during their senior year at BYU. Upon its sale they started SecretShopper.com, a mystery shopping company. They also had a business law practice for the first several years after law school while they were growing Happenings. He is currently Bishop of the Uptown YSA Ward in Minneapolis and has served in a wide variety of church and community service positions and boards of directors.
With his wife Ann of 38 years, they have six children - five who have graduated from BYU and one deferred from the Marriott school as she serves her mission in Hong Kong. They also have 7 grandchildren.
When not husbanding, bishoping, grandfathering or entreprenuering, Paul enjoys reading, skiing, basketball, golf and photography.
Paul particularly enjoys mentoring small startups.
