Biography:
Ms. Dempsey sources, evaluates, and structures investments in mid-stage platform businesses in the Mountain West Region. She works closely with several Dolphin portfolio companies such as Sea to Ski, Ragnar Relay, Alerion and Winder Farms; she also sits on the board of Dolphin Shrimp.
She has started several businesses and successfully sold her first business a year after its formation. Ms. Dempsey is a passive partner in Aptus Advisors, a transaction advisory services firm. While studying at Brigham Young University, she was President of the Marriott School of Management and President of the Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization. She played on the BYU Womens Rugby Team and the US Collegiate All-Region Womens Rugby Team.
Ms. Dempsey is on the board of the Park City Womens Business Network, a member of Young Entrepreneurs Founders Organization and on the board of The Guadalupe School (a K-3 primary school for underprivileged children). Ms. Dempsey is passionate about encouraging women in business and supporting the pursuit of education and entrepreneurship.
Ms. Dempsey has a B.A. Degree in Entrepreneurial Finance.
