Biography:
Barry Engle is cofounder and managing partner of Qell Capital Management, L.P. He formerly served as president of General Motors North America and prior to that as president of GM International. He has been CEO of Agility Fuel Systems, a Tier 1 automotive supplier. He was also CEO of Think Holdings AS in Oslo, Norway. Other past positions include president and CEO of New Holland Agricultural Equipment in Turin, Italy; president and CEO of Ford Canada; president of Ford Brazil and Mercosul; and general manager of marketing for Ford Motor Company. Barry currently serves as chairman of ABC Technologies, executive chairman of America Glass Products, and audit chair for Lilium N. Barry earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from BYU and his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Barry and Shannon have six children.
