Marriott School Scholarship Application

You can apply for ALL Marriott School scholarships using this application. However, you will only be considered for the scholarships for which you qualify.

What scholarships are available?

Privately Funded

The Marriott School has more than 170 different categories of privately donated scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students. The following criteria will be considered: GPA, need, service, leadership, nationality, hometown, major, emphasis, dependent children, ethnicity, etc.

Single-Parent

Scholarships specifically donated by the Spouse Association of the Marriott Schoolęs National Advisory Council to help single-parent undergraduate and graduate students with educational expenses including tuition and books.

Extended Reach

Designed to attract, develop, and place men and women from diverse cultures and ethnic origins, the Extended Reach Program aids qualified students in obtaining an MBA from the Marriott School.

Entrepreneurship

The Center for Entrepreneurship (CFE) sponsors scholarships for students who have demonstrated an interest in and aptitude for entrepreneurship. The following criteria will be considered: classes taken in entrepreneurship, GPA, businesses you have created or are creating, involvement in the student entrepreneur association (CEO) or Business Plan Competition (BPC), and participation in other programs sponsored by the CFE.

E-Business

E-business scholarships are awarded to students who are likely to pursue careers associated with e-business. Likelihood is determined based on a studentęs work and volunteer experience related to e-business as well as classes a student has taken.

H. Taylor Peery Real Estate

The Peery Institute offers half-tuition scholarships to students who demonstrate an interest in and aptitude for pursuing a career in Real Estate. Consideration is based on actual work experience in the real estate industry as well as classes a student has taken or will take.

H. Taylor Peery Financial Services

The Peery Financial Services scholarships are awarded to students who are likely to pursue careers in financial services. Likelihood is determined based on a studentęs work and volunteer experience related to financial services as well as classes a student has taken or will take. You must have a finance or financial services emphasis.

Institute of Marketing

The Institute of Marketing sponsors scholarships for students who have demonstrated an interest in and aptitude for marketing. The following criteria will be considered: classes taken in marketing, actual marketing work experience including internships, and involvement in the student marketing association.

Wilford A. Cardon International Sponsorships (CIS)

The (CIS) program is a scholarship and loan program for qualifying international graduate students in the Marriott School MBA, MPA, MAcc, or MISM programs. Student must be married to a native of their country and be committed to returning to their native country. Program Specific

Program-specific scholarships are awarded to qualified students in each of the following programs: undergraduate management, accounting, information systems, MBA, MPA, MAcc, and MISM.

Who should apply?

  • Full-time undergraduate students officially admitted to the Marriott School.
  • Full-time undergraduate pre-management or transfer students planning to be admitted to the Marriott School. However, scholarships will NOT be awarded until you are officially admitted.
  • All accounting, information systems, and MPA students.
  • Second-year MBA students. (All first-year MBA students are automatically considered for scholarships.)
  • Students applying for Single Parent, Extended Reach, or CIS scholarships.

Who should not apply?

  • The MBA program automatically considers all first-year students for scholarships upon acceptance.
  • Part-time students may not apply. You MUST be a full-time student. University policy states that undergraduates must carry 14 hours to be eligible for scholarship assistance in fall/winter; Marriott School graduate students must carry 12 credit hours to be eligible. For spring/summer terms undergraduates must carry 6 hours, and graduates must carry 4.5 hours.
  • Students minoring in business management.
  • Executive program students (EMBA or EMPA).

NOTE: You may save and return to this online application and edit/update your information any time before the deadline. Your final application will consist of your data that is in the system at the deadline.
