Shooting Team
The Army holds a large shooting competition every year in Georgia and invites shooting teams from within the Army and from the ROTC programs accros the nation. Durring the week long competition soldiers and cadets practice and compete in events involving pistols, assault rifles, and sniper rifles. The BYU ROTC organized and sent a shooting team for the first time in 2009. Their 6th place overall finish and two indiviual event championships demonstrated the quality training cadets receive in the BYU program. Cadets went through a tryout process and those that made the team practices two to three times each week leading up to the competition.Photos
