ASSIGNMENTS:

Colonel Ted Leblow received a Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology and graduated as a Distinguished Military Graduate from the University of Oregon Army ROTC Battalion, at which time he was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army in June of 1992.  LTC Leblow also holds a Masters of Business Administration from Touro University International.  LTC Leblow entered active duty in June of 1992 at the home of Army Aviation at Fort Rucker, Alabama.  He graduated as the honor graduate of the Rotary Wing Aviator Course and Officer Basic Course and was assigned to the 3rd Squadron, 6th Cavalry at Fort Hood, Texas.  While stationed at Fort Hood he served as the Attack Platoon Leader and later as the Troop Commander for Alpha Troop.  The 3rd Squadron, 6th Cavalry was then mobilized for a unit movement to the Republic of South Korea where LTC Leblow served as the Battalion S2 at Camp Humphreys, Korea.  After attending the Aviation Officer Advanced Course and the Combined Arms and Services Staff School he was assigned to the 3rd Infantry Division at Fort Stewart, Georgia.  While stationed at Fort Stewart he served as the Alpha Company Commander, Battalion S1 and Battalion Assistant S3 for the 1st Battalion, 3rd Aviation Regiment.  During this assignment the Battalion was mobilized and deployed to Kuwait for six months in support of Operation Desert Thunder.  Upon completion of Company Command LTC Leblow was nominated for and received an assignment as an exchange officer with the Singapore Air Force.  While stationed in Singapore he served as a unit trainer, advisor and maintenance officer in the Singapore Air Force Red Hawk Battalion flying the AS-550 Fennec scout helicopter.  After returning from Singapore LTC Leblow was assigned to the Center for Army Lessons Learned at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.  During this assignment he was attached to the 101st Airborne Division in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom where he served as the G3 Air for the Assault Command Post.  Upon returning from Iraq and completion of the Command and General Staff College he was assigned to the 2-101st Aviation Regiment at Fort Campbell, Kentucky where he served as the Battalion S3 and Executive Officer and was again deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and returned from Mosul, Iraq in January 2006.  He began his assignment as Professor of Military Science with the Brigham Young University Army ROTC Program 23 May 2006.
