Degree Requirements
After gaining acceptance to the program, you will start the Junior Core courses in the fall semester of the year you apply. The Junior Core courses are listed below. Junior Core
Overview
Full of team work, problem solving, and mentally straining activities, the Junior Core provides students with rich exposure to the world of Information Systems. Students are randomly assigned to four-person groups for both the Fall and Winter semesters of the Junior Core. To describe the intensity and demands of the Junior Core, Gary Hansen, an Information Systems Professor, shares his infamous advice at each Junior Core orientation meeting. He says, "Kiss your spouse/significant other good-bye, and tell him/her, 'See you in April!'" Even though you will devote a significant amount of time to the demands of the Junior Core, you will leave the Junior Core having a rich understanding of essential business principles and technology application. You will also possess a unique set of team-work, problem solving, and technical skills.
