MPA Students Making a Difference

My internship experience with the Family History Department's Collections Management Department was almost exactly what I was hoping for when I sought for an internship that would combine both public administration and family history skills.

The very first project assigned to me, and one of my most time consuming projects, was to create a plan for determining the priority of records/projects to be published online.

Secondly, I had to determine which records should be scheduled for digital publication.

I was involved in other projects as well.

Overall, it was somewhat surprising to me that the Family History Department acts just like any other business except for the extensive use of missionaries and the degree to which everyone relies on the Spirit.
