Ruth Ashton completed an internship with the BYU Faculty Center.  One of her projects included researching best practices for working with mid- and late-career faculty members.  She also worked on creating a "Retirement Checklist" for retiring faculty members.  She got the job because of the strong business writing skills that she learned in Dr. Baker's class.  Her internship strengthened her desire to have a career in university administration.
