Dear Employer,

I am honored to introduce you to some of the finest graduates you will find at any public management program today. We are delighted to provide a career management process that gives you the essential resources for assessing their potential as employees in your organization.

Our students are noted for not only their high academic achievements, but also their integrity and strong work ethic. These characteristics are part of their education and culture. They come with exceptional student maturity, strong team building skills and a healthy international perspective.

As you review their qualifications we believe that you will feel the same excitement for their potential that we do as their teachers and coaches. They are deeply committed to public and not-for-profit service and have developed essential management skills. They have a burning desire to serve, to build and strengthen communities, and to provide valuable leadership in meaningful organizations. They have learned to effectively work in teams and have a significant appreciation for both cooperation and competition.

Many of them have spent time outside their home country and appreciate the value of diversity in culture and community. They have tremendous language skills—nearly 70 percent are bilingual, and many speak three or more languages. Many of the students have lived abroad, and about one-fifth are from outside the United States.

The George W. Romney Institute of Public Management has designed its program, curriculum, and student internship experiences to attract top students from around the globe and to optimize their learning environment. Through practical management training and the integration of analytical, communication, and technical skills, students have gained the tools they need to lead and serve in a global environment. Graduates leave the Romney Institute with the capability and creativity to effect crucial changes in government and not-for-profit organizations, and with a strong sense of their responsibility to their communities and the world.

Romney MPA students come with a wonderful array of experience and understand the rigors of today’s world. They are leaders who can meet the challenges of the public sector with integrity, skill, and dedication. We invite you to examine their potential and believe that you will find our students to be one of the best investments your organization can make.

Sincerely,

Gary C. Cornia
