	1-800 CONTACTS Jonathan Coon won the 1996 Student Entrepreneur Business Plan Competition with his plan to market lenses by mail to those with qualifying doctors' prescriptions. He built his company to sales of $21 million with profits of over $1 million in 1997. In February 1998, 1-800 CONTACTS had a successful IPO and is now listed on the NASDAQ with a market capitalization of almost $100 million.
	WINDOWS95.COM Steve Jenkins won the Student Entrepreneur of the Year competition in 1995. Through his reserving the Internet addresses for Windows 95.com and subsequent years, his business uses these addresses to publish targeted Internet content. His sites are among the highest visited on the Web, and he generates revenues through sales of advertising as well as CD-ROM's of shareware, etc., for Windows.
