Non-Business Majors

These entrepreneurship courses help provide non-business majors with a business foundation in order to benefit those interested in opening their own business. The Center for Entrepreneurship offers the following courses:

BusM 371R—Entrepreneur Lecture Series
This course presents lectures by successful entrepreneurs on subjects significant to entrepreneur-type opportunities. (Fall and Winter)

BusM 372 — Basic Entrepreneurship Skills
This course focuses on the "How To" of practical aspects of business formation and growth. It teaches key skills and principles needed to successfully start up and grow a business. (Fall and Winter)

BusM 471 — Entrepreneurial Perspective
Living case study contrasting entrepreneurial with managerial perspective. Topics include making entrepreneurial vision a reality, ethics/integrity, startups/acquisitions, spouse/children, associates, professionals, dealmaking, entrepreneurship myths. (Spring and Fall)
