Entrepreneurship Curriculum

Various academic programs support entrepreneurship and technology across campus:

  • BS Business Management, entrepreneurship emphasis
  • Undergraduate business minor
  • BS Information Systems
  • BS Computer Science
  • BS Information Technology
  • MBA, entrepreneurship minor
  • MISM

The Rollins Center directly sponsors the entrepreneurship lecture series in the Marriott School, and works with other departments and programs on campus to ensure that cutting-edge entrepreneurship and technology curriculum is available to a wide student audience.

Entrepreneurial classes are designed to acquaint students with the problems commonly encountered when starting, growing, and harvesting business ventures. Emphasis is on the entrepreneurial career and perspective, not on one-shot ventures. Functional topics have already been taught in the functional areas and are mentioned in entrepreneurship only when a different perspective is needed.

Career Opportunities

We are associated with many large corporations looking for innovation, creativity and small business, including start-up ventures, where cross-functional expertise is needed. Specific job descriptions are many and varied.
