A Kirtland Surprise
David and MelRae Brown recently returned from serving a mission in Kirtland, Ohio. The Browns shared their experiences with Founders and Guests of the Center for Entrepreneurship. MelRae addressed the group with "Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Kirtland," a briefing of the restoration of the town, the Church heritage and roots in Kirtland, and the 64 sections of the Doctrine and Covenants that were revealed. David focused on Kirtland: City of Faith and Beauty, relaying the current city restoration projects through a power point slide presentation. Kirtland, a walking village, will be dedicated this month and will become a place for saints to reacquaint themselves with the pioneer saints.

The One Hour Business Plan Competition
At the Conference, students received a product that they examined and determined how to present to the market. Students planned with experienced entrepreneurs and Founders how to take a product and begin their own business. Students competed against other groups to present the best plan.

Spouses' Luncheon Activity
Spouses came together for a luncheon and spectacular display of talents Friday afternoon. The room blossomed with color as several women shared handmade quilts or paintings. Other amazing talents included storytelling, scrapbooking, and singing. Our women are wonderful role models!
