Breakfast Buffet

The smell of French toast, the sizzle of bacon, and the aroma of freshly-baked blueberry muffins are enough to perk up almost any morning grouch after an early rising. Our Founders and their guests didn't hesitate to dive in to the delectable offerings served up by BYU Dining Services' talented chefs and student servers. While they ate, Founders were informed and entertained by the likes of Hal Wing, Steve Nelson, Jim Jurgens, and the adorable children of the Polynesian Cultural Center, who offered up a distinctly "Pacific Islands" twist to the classic "Oscar Meyer weiner" commercial.

After three years of dedicated service, Larry and Myreel Linton stepped down as Chairman of the Board of Founders. In sincere appreciation for the significant time they have selflessly invested in behalf of the Center for Entrepreneurship, Don Livingstone presented the Lintons with a beautifully-framed print of Carl Heinrich Bloch's "Christ Healing the Sick at Bethesda," which was recently acquired by the BYU Museum of Art. Of course, words and gifts can never fully express the deep gratitude we all feel for the Lintons for their wonderful example and Christlike leadership. They leave behind mighty big shoes to fill.
