The role of the advisory board for the Rollins Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology is to help identify current and future aims; steer the center's activities, research, and outreach; and expand its influence across BYU's campus.

Many of the CET advisory board members are BYU alumni and prominent business professionals from throughout Utah and the country. However, the board also consists of academics, mostly deans and faculty, from the Marriott School and other colleges on campus.

The composition of the advisory board reflects one of the center's fundamental goals: to reach out to all BYU students and help them establish new businesses through innovation and technology. With the diversity of backgrounds on the advisory board, the CET hopes to continue to host activities and programs that will spark creativity, connect students in meaningful ways, and ultimately start successful ventures.
