New Rollins Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology
Brigham Young Universitys Marriott School announced the creation of the Kevin and Debra Rollins Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology. The new center is the result of a merger between the Rollins Center for eBusiness and the BYU Center for Entrepreneurship.
"We saw an increased potential for overlap between the interests and activities of the two centers," says Gary Cornia, Marriott School dean. "Joining the groups will help us better leverage our resources and continue to focus on the use of technology to drive new enterprises," he adds. "We had a lot of support from faculty, advisors, and contributors to combine the centers."

Linda Rich Retires from the Center for Entrepreneurship
The Center for Entrepreneurship said goodbye to Linda Rich, program director for over ten years, on Feb. 9. Rich joined the Center for Entrepreneurship in 1998 as program director and office manager. Richs work at the CFE includes planning numerous Founders Conferences; coordinating travel plans for the Founders retreats all over the world; supervising the CEO club and the Student Entrepreneur of the Year Competition; and taking part in organizing many other Marriott School events.
In concert with Don Livingstone, former managing director of the CFE, Rich filled a key role and was instrumental in helping to catapult the CFE to one of the top entrepreneurship centers in the United States.
She is married to Douglas Rich, and they have four children and ten grandchildren. Rich was an entrepreneur for fourteen years when she operated and instructed a dance studio.
