He has also worked in the industry as president and CEO of Hardie Irrigation Company. Strong is the Founding Director of BYU's Manufacturing Leadership Forum and former director of the Advanced Composite Manufacturing and Engineering Center, and the Rapid Product Realization Center. Strong will coordinate measures to apply entrepreneurial training into the engineering curriculum.
