Mentor Schedule:
|
|
- Select from the list a Mentor that best suits the business idea or business issue.
- Make appointments as far in advance as possible and be on time for the appointment.
- Show respect for the Mentors allotted time.
- Come prepared to present your idea or business issue in a concise professional manner.
- Dress in appropriate attire.
- The Mentor at his or her discretion may be willing to introduce you to potential funding opportunities. It is inappropriate for you to solicit individual investment funds from a Mentor.
- Students recognize and agree that the Mentors are offering their time, experience, and advice, on a strictly voluntary basis. It is at your sole discretion to use or not to use the advice given and as such the Mentors have no liability and are held harmless for your ultimate business decisions.
- Students are also advised that, Mentors should not be asked to sign confidentiality agreements. Both Students and Mentor's operate under the assumption that any communication written or oral is not legally protected.
- It is always a good idea to express your appreciation to the Mentor with a follow-up thank you note or email.
