Dinner at the Livingstones
As twilight descended upon the home of Don and Marsha Livingstone, an assortment of entrepreneurs from all
over the country gathered in anticipation of one of the best-loved events of fall semester. The annual Fall Founders Conference dinner
provided an opportunity for Founders to socialize and to get to know new, friendly faces.
Catered by the Chef’s Table, dinner was most enjoyable, accented by the delightful sounds of conversation
wafting through the air. The caterers were kept on their toes as attendance swelled to over 100, but both food and hospitality proved
to be quite plentiful. Attendees were found sharing desserts in order to partake of all the different dishes Chef’s Table had to offer.
While everyone finished up their desserts, Don Livingstone and Gary Williams entertained the crowd with the
exciting stories of BYU students’ successes in state and nationwide competitions. Most notably, both Property Solutions and the Mayan
Tree have been nationally recognized for their entrepreneurial achievements. All in attendance were pleased to see so many BYU students
benefiting from the Center’s services. Further, everyone present congratulated Kelly & Evelyn Dame on their becoming the Center’s newest
platinum founders.
With the close of the evening drawing near, founders, staff, and faculty associated with the Center enjoyed
hot cocoa and cider to round things off. All in all, the evening was a truly delightful way to gear up for the following day’s festivities.
