Membership Benefits
The advantages of being a member of the MBA Marketing Association are many. Here are just a few of them:
- Moab Trip '09 - We head down to Moab to get to know each other better, hear from 2nd years about the secrets of a successful summer internship, network with recruiters, and play before hitting the books.
- Networking - We are working on awesome guest speakers from the industry to present to us this fall, including Wal-Mart and Microsoft. Last year, we heard from executives at Wal-Mart, Nestle, Union Pacific, and HP!
- NSHMBA - October 8-10th in Minneapolis, MN. Put this on your calendar! This is the biggest recruiting event of the year! In fact, the MBA program is giving us the weekend off to go. We will have resume, interviewing and career workshops beforehand to get you ready to land your dream internship. Many marketers got internships there last year, so plan on attending.
- Fun - It's well known that we marketing majors and our activities are the most fun (although I'm biased)! And there is almost always free food.
You don't have to be a marketing major to join MBAMA. If you are just interested in learning more about marketing, marketing careers or just want to have a lot of fun, we'd love to have you join us!
