John Higginson -- President

John received Bachelor Degrees in International Politics and Mandarin Chinese from BYU in 2002. For the nearly 7 years prior to beginning the MBA program at BYU, he worked for the U.S. Postal Service as an Operations Supervisor, and as a Processing & Distribution Supervisor. John is focusing on Supply Chain and Operations Management within the MBA program.

Corbett Greenhalgh -- Executive Vice President & Treasurer

Corbett, a first year MBA emphasizing the Supply Chain, Services, Operation Management track, graduated from BYU with a BA in Music, emphasizing composition. Before returning to the MBA program he worked for several years as a Project Manager for PGM Inc., a market research data collection firm. During his last year with PGM he was asked to develop, integrate, and standardize a Tabulation/Coding department. His prior work experience also includes high-tech manufacturing and marketing positions within real estate and financial services.

Jonathan Green -- Vice President Career Services

Jonathan received his Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Civil Engineering from BYU. Previous to starting the MBA program, Jonathan worked several years for the Environmental Modeling Research Laboratory (EMRL) as a software manager developing specialized engineering software. Jonathan has published several articles in the civil engineering realm related to computer optimization of ground water simulations.

Chris Thackeray -- Vice President Professional Organizations

Chris is pursuing a MBA at BYU after ten years of engineering work experience in the Aircraft and Semiconductor industries. Through his extensive experience in developing and managing the implementation and manufacturing of new products, Chris has gained valuable insight into the challenges of managing the supply chain. After graduation, he expects to work with an emerging company seeking to increase profitability through both proven and innovative improvements in operations and supply chain management.

Nathan Rasmussen -- Vice President Publicity & Web Hosting

Nathan received his Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from BYU and is currently working on two Master degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration and has his emphasis in Product Development. He has worked several years as a Production Engineering Technician at US Synthetic which is currently the industry leader in synthetic diamond inserts for oil and gas drilling. During some of the time spent at US Synthetic he designed, engineered, and built a machine which saved a minimum of $150k annually in production costs. He is enthusiastic about understanding business, complementing his interest in engineering and manufacturing operations.

Prof. Fawcett -- Faculty Advisor

Stanley E. Fawcett is a Professor of Global Supply Chain Management at Brigham Young University and was recently named to the Donald L. Staehli professorship of international management. Prof. Fawcett received his Ph.D. from Arizona State University and taught for a number of years at Michigan State University before joining the faculty at the Marriott School. He has taught professional development programs in the U.S. and South America in the areas of performance measurement, global strategy, and supply chain integration. Stan has been an active researcher and has published over a hundred papers in leading logistics, purchasing, operations, marketing and Entreprenership journals including the Journal of Business Logistics and Industrial Marketing Management.
