Women in Management Mission Statement
The mission of
Women in Management is to promote the professionalism of our members
through education, development, encouragement and mentoring; to
promote the growth of our organization to bring these services to
other women throughout the nation, and to encourage growth, networking
and quality within our existing chapters.
WIM Brigham Young University Chapter
Mission Statement
The
mission of the Brigham Young University Chapter of Women in Management
is to be an active, innovative resource to female students by providing
support and assistance, offering opportunities for personal and
professional growth, and promoting the establishment of purposeful
relationships between members.
We Seek To Fulfill This Mission With
The Following Organizational Objectives:
o To gain insight
into the unique issues women face in the work place
o To build mentoring and networking relationships between MS alumni,
other women in the greater business community, and current MS
students
o To support and promote the role of women in leadership positions
o To help foster a more diverse and successful business program
by raising awareness of gender issues
o To identify and promote female-friendly companies
o To help women in their transition from school to career
