“Promoting Women’s Autonomy”
Biography:
Tina is currently a Master of Public Administration student, emphasizing in health care. Her involvement in studying women's autonomy began last year when she was an undergraduate student in Sociology. Her interest in Latin culture and human rights led her to study how women's status affects many aspects of life. The bulk of her research was done at BYU, but she also traveled to Bolivia this past summer with a team of professors and students. Tina plans to present her results on this topic at the Population Association of America meetings in Minneapolis in May.
