Biography:
Carmen’s background is originally in educational psychology, in which she has been a professor of the Bolivian Catholic University for 15 years. Her interests took a new focus after participating in the Micro Finance Training program at the Bolder Institute. In 1999, Carmen co-founded Pro Mujer. She has actively participated in the design and development of the services and products that Pro Mujer offers to it clients, both in the financial and non financial services. Carmen currently serves as Co-Director of the international entity and as Executive Director of the Bolivian entity. Today she will speak to us regarding the challenges and outcomes of integrating financial services and social development services.
