Application tips:
-
Resume: Please include months and years of employment for each job listed on your resume. Months need to be
listed to allow the MBA program to accurately calculate and give you credit for your work experience.
-
Statement of Intent: We recommend that the statement of intent be one to two pages, single spaced. In addition
to using the statement to express why you want to attend BYU and what you bring to the program, you may use it as a
letter of explanation to bring to the admission committee's attention anything you would like to explain that is not
addressed elsewhere.
-
Letters of recommendation: The Executive MBA application requires three letters of recommendation (three professional or a combination of two professional and one personal or academic). However, an application can be processed with two letters if the applicant gives permission. The letters of recommendation may be submitted online or by hard copy; instructions for both options are available in the online application.
-
Transcripts: Please wait to send your transcripts to BYU until you've submitted your online application. If you graduated from BYU (Provo campus) you
don't need to submit transcripts.
-
Hard copy application materials: All paper application materials should be submitted together in one packet to:
BYU Office of Graduate Studies
B-356 ASB
Provo, UT 84602
These materials will be processed and cleared by the Graduate Studies office, and forwarded to the MBA program for review.
