Schedule and Locations

Schedule

The EMBA Program class schedule is designed to help students keep their lives in balance — to leave time for the things outside of school in which they’re involved.

The Summer 2009 Provo Program Begins August 3, 2009

Beginning Summer 2009, the BYU EMBA program will be offered in Provo, BYU Campus. Classes will be held Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Classes will be held in room 260 TNRB (Tanner Building).

Beginning Summer 2010, the BYU EMBA program will be offered in Salt Lake in a weekend format. Classes will be held every other weekend on Friday from 12:00 to 6:30 p.m. and on the following Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The classes will be held at the BYU Salt Lake Center located at the Triad in downtown Salt Lake City at 345 West North Temple.

Although classes are conducted year-round, there are breaks each December and July. Each of the two years of the program begins with "Residency Week", an intensive week-long orientation held on BYU campus in Provo.

Two Locations

Classes are taught at two separate locations: Provo and Salt Lake City. This allows students to attend the facility most convenient for them. The location at which students start the program is where they take classes for the full two years. A new class begins in Provo during odd-numbered years (2009, 2011, etc.) and in Salt Lake City during even-numbered years (2010, 2012, etc.). Some students elect to commute to class rather than wait for the next beginning date in their area.
