Global Change Agents

"The time has come when the talents of the men of business shall be used to beneft the whole people...not for individual benefit alone, nor for individual aggrandizement alone, but for the benefit of the whole people, to uplift the masses, to rescue them from their poverty."

      --- George Q. Cannon

In recent years, my students, colleagues and I have sought to organize a new vehicle for assisting NGOs to build capacity and become more effective institutions. It's called Global Change Agents, Inc. We've also assembled listings of Utah-based development and humanitarian organizations, many of which are now doing good around the globe. Others are our friends or partners, mostly based in the U.S., but also working throughout the world.

Finally we included a few links having to do with global change agentry and the building of intentional/sustainable comunities.

"Verily I say, men should be anxiously engaged in a good cause, and do many things of their own free will, and bring to pass much righteousness: For the power is in them, wherein they are agents unto themselves."

"Some men see things as they are and say, 'Why?' I dream of things that never were and say, 'Why not?'"
