Career EnhancementThe Romney EMPA is a mid-career, management-oriented program designed to enhance career mobility. Building on an existing career in the public or nonprofit sectors, the program introduces students to new skills, knowledge, and contacts. These advantages create upward mobility and career flexibility options for graduates and allow them to explore a wide variety of management activities. The Romney EMPA program draws heavily upon students' practical experience, usually post bachelor’s degree. As a result, applicants must have a minimum of four years full-time, professional work experience. EMPA students come from a variety of professional backgrounds including law enforcement; health care administration; city planning; federal, state, and local government agencies; and nonprofit organizations. |
