The Marriott School of Management at BYU is proud to present the 6th High School Business Language Competition (HSBLC) taking place Friday, 24 February, 2017. The HSBLC provides an opportunity for high school students to apply their business and Spanish skills outside their school environment while developing their presentation abilities and using their creativity while developing a business plan.
Each team must consist of three High school students that are currently enrolled in the sponsoring High school
The competition will consist of two parts: a business plan development and a business plan presentation.
Marketing Plan Development
Each team will be given a product to market to the Hispanic community in Utah. They will have approximately three weeks to learn about the product, learn about the Hispanic market, and develop a business plan to effectively market the product.
Marketing Plan Presentation
Students will present their business plans to a jury of Spanish speakers on Friday, 24 February 2017 at the Marriott School of Management at BYU.
