The Marriott School of Management at BYU and the University of Colorado Denver are proud to present the 4th High School Business Language Competition (HSBLC) taking place on Friday, 28 February, 2014. The HSBLC provides an opportunity for high school students to apply their business and Spanish skills outside their school environment while developing their presentation and using their creativity while developing a business plan.
The competition will consist of two parts: a business plan development and a business plan presentation.
Business Plan Development:
Each team will be given a product to market to the Hispanic
community in Utah. They will have approximately a month-and-a half to learn about the product, learn about the Hispanic market, and develop a business plan to effectively market the product.
Business Plan Presentation:
Students will present their business plans to a jury of Spanish speakers on Friday, 28 February 2014 at the Marriott School of Management at BYU.IMPORTANT DATES:
