FDIB Conferences
The Kay and Yvonne Whitmore Global Management Center strives to instill the importance of an international mindset in the Marriott School of Management’s faculty. Faculty Development in International Business (FDIB) programs have been developed to help achieve this objective. These programs are available to faculty members interested in the international side of business and bringing global knowledge into the classroom. The Global Management Center is a part of the CIBER network which sponsors many FDIB conferences and workshops.
FDIB conferences focus on an emphasis within international business or on a geographic region. Faculty study abroad programs also exist in a variety of disciplines and settings (e.g. in the United States at university campuses and at foreign intuitions). The Global Management Center has a database of conferences and would be able to search for specific faculty needs. The center is able to fund a wide variety of international business conferences even if they aren’t a part of the CIBER network.
If you are interested in participating in a FDIB program or even just interested in learning more about potential opportunities, please email Jennifer Stockett-Goff at gmc_faculty@byu.edu or call 801-422-8165.
