Research Grants

The Global Management Center supports and encourages international business research through a number of programs for faculty including financial support for research focused on international or global business.

The Global Management Center will fund up to four significant faculty research projects in 2008–2009. These proposals should focus on important research topics within the faculty member’s field, examined in a global context. Funding will be in the amount of $2,500 per faculty member and can be used to support travel, research assistant support, software, data, survey expenses, and other relevant costs. The Global Management Center will reimburse the funds with appropriate recipients, and all international travel must be on U.S. carriers, wherever possible.

Proposals should include, but not limited to, the following:

  • What you would like to accomplish with your research
  • What topic(s) you wish to focus
  • How you see this opportunity impacting both your academic research as well as your classroom and curriculum
  • Ways in which you might be able to share your key learning with other faculty, staff, and students on campus

Proposals are accepted all year long, but they must be submitted to Lee Radebaugh, Global Management Center director, at least two months before funding is needed.
