Overview

BYU students at FHE with local young adults in Monterrey, Mexico

In today's society it is vital to think global. Studying in an international environment is a great way to internationalize yourself. The Student Exchange Program (SEP), managed by the Whitmore Global Management Center, is a global living and learning opportunity at universities throughout the world. By choosing to participate in a Student Exchange Program you will strengthen your education and learn about yourself. Participating in the Student Exchange Program will help you experience personal growth, increase your global awareness, enhance your academic learning, develop your leadership skills, advance your career, and learn or strengthen a second language.

The Global Management Center is dedicated to providing all BYU students with high-quality international academic opportunities allowing them to develop knowledge and skills necessary to become productive and successful members of the global community. In partnership with the Marriott School departments, faculty, and staff, we seek to increase awareness of education abroad opportunities, to promote intercultural learning, and to advocate for diversity in participants and programs.

The Global Management Center is working to create partnerships with colleges and universities throughout the world. Currently the Marriott School of Management has established partnerships with schools in China, Mexico, Portugal, France, Germany, and Brazil. Students apply for participation through the Kennedy Center's International Studies Program and the Global Management Center. The student pays normal tuition to BYU and is ensured that all pre-approved classes taken will transfer back to BYU.
