Students who are currently in the BYU Marriott School’s information systems undergraduate program have the opportunity to apply for the integrated MISM program.
During the second semester of their undergraduate information systems program, students will have the option to apply for the integrated Master of Information Systems Management (MISM) program, in which students earn their BS information systems and their MISM degrees concurrently with both degrees awarded to students upon graduation. Students may also choose to pursue only their BS information systems degree.
Information systems students who are currently in the accounting junior core who wish to apply for the MISM program must meet with the MISM academic advisor and complete the Bachelor’s/Master’s Decision Form by 11:30 p.m. on the last exam preparation day of winter semester. The application includes a $50 application fee. The primary admission criteria are junior core grades. The GMAT is waived for students who have completed the BYU information systems junior core.
Not all who apply to enter the MISM program are admitted; historically, the acceptance rate has been around 67 percent. All applicants will be notified via email by the middle of May as to whether they have been accepted.Apply
