Transfer Student Information
Students intending to transfer to the Marriott School must first seek admission to the University by completing the following steps:
- Apply to Brigham Young University through the admissions office.
- Send official transcripts from all previously attended institutions. This should be done well before the application deadline to allow enough time to process the transcript. We are unable to process your application if there are missing semesters, classes, or associate’s degrees from your transfer school.
The admissions office may be contacted at (801) 422-2507 or msm_transfer@byu.edu.
Management, Information Systems, and Accounting at Brigham Young University are Limited Enrolment Programs. After completing the necessary prerequisites, students must make formal application and be accepted to the major.
It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that transfer courses will satisfy Marriott School requirements. All Management, Information Systems, and Accounting transfer courses must be evaluated through the Undergraduate Programs Office. Many courses have already been evaluated. For courses that have not been evaluated, a complete syllabus and course calendar may be submitted to the Marriott School for evaluation. Students must include their name, student ID number, phone number, and email with requests for evaluation. The evaluation process typically requires one to two weeks. If you have questions regarding courses taken at other colleges, contact the Management Advisement Center at (801) 422-4285 or msm_transfer@byu.edu.
