Previous experience...
Social Communication/Public Relations. I worked for 12 years in the Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Industry.
Previous positions and callings…
At my job I worked as a Sales Representative and Product Manager. In the church I have worked in several positions including High Counselor, Bishopric Counselor, Bishop, and Stake President.
Experience at Marriott School…
It was really nice time learning about different points of view for specific issues, professors and classmates took our comments as a complement for class issues and sometimes our insight helped other students to understand more deeply a topic.
Experience as an international student…
Being an international student at a school with such a good academic level as Marriot School is not an easy task. However, at BYU people have a better understanding of how it feels being in a different country because many people have served missions. I felt greatly welcomed and many of the students showed a great support for me and my family.
Words of advice for prospective CIS students…
CIS is a blessing for me. We need to understand the purpose of this program and honor our word. That is the way to improve.
