MBA Ambassador Program Continues
The Ambassador Program, which was initially launched in February 2007, continues to be a successful way for MBA students to communicate the message and mission of the BYU MBA program to prospective students. The response from the MBA class of 2009 was overwhelming, and these new ambassadors, along with existing ambassadors from the class of 2008, have already begun helping with such things as blogging, MBA presentations for classes in other departments, on-campus visits from prospective students, and MBA on-campus information booths. MBA class of 2008 ambassador Sarah Davis says, I've heard many of the current ambassadors comment on their reasons for getting involved. One of the most common is that they appreciated being able to contact an ambassador while they were looking into the MBA program before being admitted. It's so nice for prospective students to be able to talk with someone who has gone through the process of being admitted and get a student's perspective. Scott Creer, another MBA class of 2008 ambassador, says regarding these new ambassadors, They just want to be utilized and contribute. It's great knowing how many people we can count on to help out with prospective students or other projects we are working on. New ambassador profiles should be online soon, and we hope this information, along will all other ambassador efforts, help provide prospective students find answers to their questions and sources of assistance and information to those who are considering an MBA from BYU.
