In line with the global emphasis of the Marriott School, the MBA program strongly encourages international students interested in an outstanding graduate business education to apply. Posted below are links that may be of help as you prepare for graduate school at BYU.

New Credential Evaluations Requirement for International Transcripts

Starting fall semester 2008, an international applicant whose degree is awarded outside the United States must submit all official transcripts, diplomas and marksheets to one of the following agencies for a credential evaluation, which must include a comprehensive course-by-course evaluation and calculation of a grade point average (GPA):

  • Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE)
  • International Education Research Foundation (IERF)
  • World Education Service (WES)

Scholarships and Financial Aid

The Marriott School offers two scholarships for international students:

  • Cardon International Sponsorship (CIS): Scholarship and loan program for international students who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, married, and committed to return to their home region after graduation from the MBA program. See the CIS application and program details on the CIS web site.
  • International Graduate Student Scholarship (IGSS): Scholarship for admitted international students. Admitted international students are automatically considered for IGSS (no application is necessary). Scholarship awards range from one quarter to full tuition at the LDS rate. Scholarship recipients are notified by the MBA Program. CIS recipients are not considered for IGSS. Questions may be directed to msm_scholarships@byu.edu.

Marriott School of Management (MSM) loans are available to international students who qualify. Detailed information may be obtained on the BYU Financial Aid website.
