TEEN PROGRAM (13–18 YEARS) SCHEDULE

Teenagers will enjoy this adventure-filled program where they will develop personal skills, make new friends, and have a blast. All activities, such as the ropes course, river rafting, and archery lessons, will build teamwork, trust, creative thinking, problem solving, and new skills. The activities will culminate with a fun-filled excursion to Lagoon, Utah's biggest amusement park. Trained conference workshop counselors and staff will monitor all activities. Your teenagers will thank you for letting them come.

SCHEDULE
Thursday
7:30 a.m. - Check In and Registration-East Lobby of Conference Center, Breakfast at Deseret Towers patio
8:15 a.m. - Leave for the Ropes Course
8:30 a.m. - Ropes Course
11:00 a.m. - Crandall Historic Printing Museum
Noon - BBQ at Park
1:00 p.m. - Travel to Provo River for River Rafting
2:00 p.m. - River Run (Bring swimsuit and towel)
4:30 p.m. - Finish river run, return to BYU
5:30 p.m. - Luau and entertainment with family, Conference Center

Friday
7:30 a.m. - Check In and Registration-East Lobby of Conference Center, Breakfast at Deseret Towers patio
8:15 a.m. - Leave for Cabellas for archery lesson
9:00 a.m. - Archery lesson at Cabellas
11:00 a.m. - Travel to Lagoon
Noon - Lagoon Fun in the Sun
7:30 p.m. - Board vans and leave Lagoon
9:00 p.m. - Return to BYU

Ropes Course
Get-to-know you games, low-course activities (about two feet off the ground), team problem solving activities, and then high course events (with ropes, harnesses, helmets, etc.) for those who want to participate (zip lines, rock wall, rappelling, ring jump). All of the activities require teamwork, encouragement, trust, creative thinking, problem solving, and pushing oneself out of comfort zone.

Crandall Historic Printing Museum
The Crandall Printing Museum features replicas of famous historic print shops and printing presses including a re-creation of the world's oldest printing house. Visitors watch as type is cast and a page of the Gutenberg Bible is printed. In the Grandin Print Shop, visitors see pages of the first edition Book of Mormon printed on a faithful reproduction of the original Book of Mormon press in Palmyra, New York.

Archery Lesson at Cabellas
Learn archery from professionals on three different types of bows, shooting at 3-D targets.

LagoonýFun in the Sun
Lagoon is Utah's premier amusement parkýits rides and attractions are sure to thrill your teenager. We will start with a boxed lunch in the park. The Meal Deal dinner will energize everyone for an evening of fun. (Have your teen bring extra money if he/she wants souvenirs or treats.)
