The New York Metro LDS Professional Association (NYLDSPA) exists to unite professionals of integrity from a wide variety of backgrounds in order to promote the highest ethical, personal and professional standards among its members and their communities.

MISSION: To build the character careers, intellect and networks of LDS professionals in the New York Metropolitan area through upholding standards of excellence and integrity.

OBJECTIVES:

• Further and enhance the career development of LDS professionals in the tri-state area.
• Educate the community on social, artistic, political, religious, scientific and business achievements/contributions that LDS people are making in the region and throughout the world.
• Provide scholarships for eligible LDS students in the Tri-State area who will be attending any college or university and are enrolled in a church-sponsored Institute program.
• Unite professionals of integrity from a wide variety of backgrounds in order to promote the highest ethical, personal and professional standards among its members and their communities. To accomplish this goal, we sponsor a variety of monthly events ranging from small training workshops, mentoring, and discussion groups to large group forums and a prominent speaker series.
• Build bridges of friendship, understanding and service between a variety of professional groups and peoples, both within and outside the Latter-day Saint community.
• Foster a commitment of lifelong service locally, nationally and abroad.
