Fred G. Meyer Chair of Retailing
The Institute was instrumental in obtaining a $1 million endowment from the Meyer Memorial Trust to establish the Fred G. Meyer Chair, a faculty honor available to a full professor in marketing.
L. S. Skaggs Scholarships and Awards
Established in honor of the generosity of American Stores and its founder, Sam Skaggs, a number of L. S. Skaggs Scholarships and Awards are offered each semester to qualified students interested in a retailing career.
JCPenney Research Fund
The JCPenney Retail Research Program was established by a major grant from the JCPenney Company, with grant earnings being designated for the conduct of quality research in marketing. This program has funded more than a hundred research projects since its inception.
