DetailsCASE DETAILS:The 2012 ISE Case Competition will be featuring Community Enterprise Solutions and a strategic issue that they are currently faced with. Teams will be presenting to CE Solution's co-founder, Greg Van Kirk, who has been recognized as an Ashoka Lemelson Fellow for his work in fighting poverty through the creation of The MicroConsignment Model. The case will be distributed to the teams approximately one week prior to the competition. Once the teams have the case, they are to work on their own without any support from persons outside of the student team; they must not receive any coaching from faculty, staff, or other students from this point on. Teams are allowed to use any other resources they wish. There will be an opportunity for teams to ask questions of the case writer and Greg Van Kirk after receiving the case. Teams should come to the competition prepared to present their case findings in 20-25 minutes followed by a 10 minute question and answer period. An electronic copy of the presentation must be submitted by 7:00 AM on March 22. LOGISTICS:BYU will plan and cover lodging and food expenses for each team of four graduate students. Participating students/schools will be responsible for their own airfare and transportation while in Utah (a shuttle will be provided from the hotel to competition events).
