Social Entrepreneurship Consulting is an opportunity for MBA and MPA students to use their advanced business skills and work with organizations to reduce poverty.
In 2009 students worked with organizations in Ghana, Paraguay, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Guatemala, California, and Utah. In past years students have also worked in Mozambique, Peru, and Mexico.

Projects vary depending on the needs of the organization.
Typically students spend three to four weeks in May analyzing small businesses, microfranchises, and other poverty alleviation projects and then suggest practical solutions for improvement.
