About the 2011 Peery Film Festival

On October 13, 2011, the Peery Film Festival featured social entrepreneurs in action. BYU students traveled to Ecuador, the Dominican Republic, and San Francisco to capture real pattern-breaking change happening in the communities near and far.

The film festival is a joint effort between the Ballard Center for Economic Self-Reliance and the Department of Theatre and Media Arts to explain how students can link their skill sets with the world of social innovation. The event was open to the public but is intended for BYU students who want to know more about getting involved with social entrepreneurship and the Ballard Center.
