WSOA Continues Strong in Second Year

The Women of the School of Accountancy (WSOA) Committee stayed busy during its second year at BYU. In order to raise awareness about the benefits of a degree in accounting, the WSOA displayed posters across campus with the slogan, "Women, what are you counting on?" The posters highlighted advantages of majoring in accounting, including a flexible career, top-ranked program, and 100% job placement.

Second Annual London Study Abroad

Sixteen SOA students traveled to London along with Professors Erv Black, Greg Burton, and Kevin Stocks, as part of the SOA's second international accounting study abroad program. The students visited the IASB, ICAEW, ACCA, KPMG, and Grant Thornton, and also saw Stonehenge, Bath, Dover and Windsor Castles, the Tower of London, and several plays
