Born in Montrose, Colorado, Brad developed a knack for business and hard work at a young age while working alongside his father on their family ranch. When he returned home from his LDS mission to New Zealand, he had an immediate need and desire to develop his entrepreneurial skills and attend Brigham Young University. At the age of 22, Brad and his brothers opened three cutting edge disco techs known as the "Star Palace" in Rexburg, Idaho Falls, and Provo. He also owned and operated two used car dealerships, while starting to build a real estate portfolio. In Utah County he began rehabbing existing and building new student housing apartments.

In 1984, he and his wife, Stephanie, moved to Arizona where the residential market was robust. He founded Olympic Homes Inc., which grew to be one of Arizona's leading premier real estate development and construction companies. In 1988, the "Phoenix Business Journal" recognized his company as the top custom homebuilder in Scottsdale. In 1989, they expanded to new development projects in California where they built and established the same reputation as they had in Arizona. In 1990, Brad began a new development company, Paragon Homes Inc., that featured residential and commercial construction projects in the Salt Lake City area, Utah Valley, and Park City. His specialty was high-end ski-in ski-out cabins in the Park City and Deer Valley area.

Brad's innovation never ceases to stop, he is constantly thinking of new ways to capture better returns on investments. His optimistic approach has found opportunities in the good times as well as during the downturns in the real estate market. Brad has enjoyed serving in various capacities throughout his professional career. Some of those roles include; Scout master, a faculty member of the Philmont scouting LDS training session, seminary and institute teacher, elders quorum president, bishoprics, and high council. Brad's most enjoyable times are shared with his family. He values his relationship with family and close friends more than anything he has achieved or attained. Brad is married to the former Stephanie Kay Hammond and they are the parents of five children.
