Biography:

John Simcox is currently working on and enjoying running his ranch, Dusty Diamond Ranch in Fraser, Colorado. He is a former Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Center for Entrepreneurship. He is a sustaining Silver Founder and member of the Board of Directors, a long time supporter of the Center for Entrepreneurship. His primary business activity has been retail jewelry. The primary chain, J.C. Keepsake Diamonds, operates more than 20 stores in Colorado and Utah; other operations include Bullock & Losee Jewelers , and Brendon Jewelers. In early 1999, John sold his interest in these chains to one of the largest diamond wholesalers in the world, located in Israel. He also owned and operated 8 fitness centers in the greater Denver area. John served at BYU Hawaii Mark Willes International Center for Entrepreneurship and served in a beta testing program for the Church teaching people how to be self reliant. John and his wife, Charlene, are the proud parents of five children and twenty three grandchildren.
