Biography:
Danny is an oil and gas entrepreneur and operator. His oil and gas experience covers Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Wyoming, Colorado, Montana, but is primarily focused in Utah. Danny has done deals and joint ventures with many industry leaders such as Anadarko Petroleum Corporation (NYSE:APC), Chesapeake Energy Corporation (NYSE:CHK), Southwestern Energy Co. (NYSE:SWN), Newfield Exploration Company (NYSE:NFX), Crescent Point Energy Corp. (NYSE:CPG), Fidelity Exploration and Production Company (NYSE:MDU), Clayton Williams Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ:CWEI), Petro-Hunt, LLC, Yates Petroleum, Armstrong Oil and Gas, H&L Operating, Laddex Ltd, and others. Over the past few years, Danny has leased and acquired in excess of 1,000,000 acres of oil and gas property and has successfully negotiated the acquisitions from Encana Corporation (NYSE:ECA), Talisman (NYSE:TLM), PetroCanada-Suncor (NYSE:SU), Patara, Fidelity Exploration and Production Company (NYSE:MDU).
Danny is heavily involved in mentoring, educating, and providing loans to the poor so they can lift themselves from poverty to self reliance. He serves as a Board Member for Mentors International where he formerly served as Chairman of the Board. Danny is an Active Investor in oil and gas, start-ups, property, and real-estate holdings.
He served an LDS church mission in Puerto Rico and speaks fluent Spanish. Danny graduated from BYU where he received academic honors and participated in varsity athletics. Danny and his wife, Mary, have eight children.
