Scott was born Jan. 3, 1959 in Layton, Utah. He served an LDS mission to Pittsburgh, PA from Jan. 1978 to Feb. 1980. He married Marilyn Jean Hobbs on Aug. 8, 1980. Scott and Marilyn moved to Kansas in Jan. 1982 where they lived until 2003 when they returned to Utah to buy a business. They presently live in Orem.
Scott is the author of two early Christian books, "Where Have All the Prophets Gone?" and "Do the Mormons Have a Leg to Stand On?"
Omadi is a cloud based, web based platform for workforce management that currently serves the transportation, towing, security, and recovery Industries. Omadi combines a robust CRM with a highly configurable, customizable platform specific to each business.
Scott also has ownership in several other businesses and is the longest standing board member of Mentors International, a unique micro lending organization with foundations in the Philippines, Africa, and South America. Scott also served as the Managing Director of the Rollins Center from July 2010-October 2015, bringing the Center to national prominence and ranking in the top 10 in both graduate and under-graduate studies each year of his tenure.
Scott and Marilyn have been married nearly 36 years. They have five wonderful children and 11 beautiful grandchildren. Tyler, 34, married Anya Artinger, four children; Brooke, 32, married Ryan Browning, three girls; Rachel, 30, married Michael Henderson, two children; Brandon, 26, married Amy Brugger, two children; Ashley, 23, married Russ Holmes. All five children graduated from of BYU, as well as nearly four of their children's spouses.
